Pinot Villas are only 50 metres from Martinborough Square with its excellent restaurants, cafes and shopping. The boutique cinema is also a popular destination for visitors to the town.

Alternatively, the region’s award winning vineyards are all nearby, it’s a short drive to the local golf course, there’s a scenic drive to the coastline and all that it offers. You can hire a bike from an outlet in town to explore the vineyards and the town area at a more leisurely pace – in fact there’s something for everyone.

The architecturally designed individual one and two bedroom villas and spa bath studio suites with private verandahs have all the amenities needed whatever the occasion.

There’s also a barbeque area, and comfortable outdoor furniture in a beautiful garden setting for all to enjoy. Have a game of petanque if you need to work up a thirst.

If you’re not feeling energetic, a drive to Palliser Bay is well worth the trip. One hours drive from Pinot Villas is the Palliser Lighthouse and in between there is wonderful scenery including farmland, lakes, the Lake Ferry Hotel, a fishing village plus a seal colony. There is also the opportunity to have a “lazy lunch” at a vineyard.
